Yes, Kaley Cuoco and Henry Cavill dated nearly a decade ago. It was short-lived, though, with reports saying that it only lasted for about two weeks.
Cheat Sheet revisited that two celebrities' “brief fling” in 2013. It seemingly took place weeks after the premiere of “Man of Steel,” wherein Cavill played the lead role of Superman.
As noted, he and Cuoco sparked romance talks among fans and followers when news of their relationship hit the headlines. Although they never confirmed it verbally before the public, their hand-holding moment during an outing in July 2013 was seemingly enough evidence.
Kaley Cuoco and Henry Cavill, however, reportedly called it quits after 12 days. Some publications even claimed that the fling lasted only for ten days.
Whatever the case, though, it was, indeed, a brief relationship.
This was said to have led the public to accuse them of planning the entire relationship for publicity. As it happened, the two celebrities shared the same publicist at the time.
But, sources alleged that Cuoco got “overwhelmed” with the spotlight the relationship with Cavill entailed, causing her to break up with the actor. She was “not used to that much attention and chaos in her life” despite being well-known for her acting roles.
Kaley Cuoco went on to marry Ryan Sweeting later that year. The marriage did not last long, though, as they ended up splitting after 21 months, according to Us Weekly.
The “Big Bang Theory” star, later on, revealed that Sweeting “ruined” the idea of marriage for her. She opened up about her relationship with her first husband, saying that she “married someone the first time who completely changed.”
Cuoco, then, walked down the aisle again in 2018. She tied the knot with equestrian Karl Cook after dating for nearly two years.
The couple announced their split in September after three years of marriage.
As for Henry Cavill, he had an on-and-off relationship with Gina Carano for a couple of years. They were first together before his brief romance with Kaley Cuoco.
The pair, however, ended their links, once and for all, in 2014, according to The List. He, then, went on to date other personalities, with him seemingly keeping all the details under the wrap.
In 2021, the DCEU star confirmed his relationship with executive Natalie Viscuso on Instagram. They have since maintained a relatively private romantic tie.
