Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have already talked about marriage in their second try at love. They will reportedly get engaged again, with sources saying "when the time is right."
Star magazine released a report about the matter for its March 7 issue. It comes after the unnamed informants discussed the pair's romance and explained "why this is different" for them.
As stated, Affleck and Lopez have now learned from their past mistakes. They are "in it for the long haul," adding that the actor "will pop the question" soon.
However, the celebrity couple are allegedly not putting any pressure on themselves and their relationship. They are, instead, "enjoying every day that they get to spend together."
Whether the claims are legitimate or not, no one can confirm. The insiders failed to provide any evidence to prove the story.
So, unless Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez break their silence to discuss engagement and marriage before the public, the latest report from the outlet will remain speculative at best.
Nevertheless, the "Hustlers" actress previously opened up about her relationship with the DCEU actor. She revealed how "lucky" they are to receive a second chance at love.
Metro said that Lopez made the statements in a chat with People Magazine earlier this month. As stated, she "lifted the lid on Bennifer 2.0." and gave the public a glimpse into their relationship.
During the engagement, the songstress described her reunion with Ben Affleck as a "beautiful love story." She added that she has "never been better" and is happy, as well as "proud to be with him."
J.Lo continued that she and her boyfriend had fears and worries at first about making their relationship public knowledge, considering they called off their previous engagement so openly. She emphasized how much they do not want to repeat what happened in the past as they are "so happy" in their romance today.
In the end, Jennifer Lopez revealed that they are "so protective" these days because "it is such a beautiful time" for all of them, including their respective children. It is a "really rare, precious, beautiful thing," adding that they do not take it for granted.
Ben Affleck first proposed to the "Selena" star in the early 2000s after dating for a few months. Us Weekly said that the two celebrities first met on the set of "Gigli" in 2002.
He and Jennifer Lopez, however, called off the engagement days before their wedding. They cited "excessive media attention" as the reason behind the decision, although they remained in their relationship.
It was not until January 2004 that they announced their break-up. Lopez and Affleck moved on to their respective lives and married Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively, later that year.
