Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will allegedly renew their vows to commemorate their second wedding anniversary.
According to New Idea, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning the intimate ceremony with the help of Markle’s friend, Jessica Mulroney.
When Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot two years ago, their ceremony was held at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Hundreds of guests also attended the event.
According to the tabloid, the couple’s renewal of vows will be much smaller than their first wedding. But it is possible for the ceremony to be featured in the Canadian reality TV show, “I Do, Redo.”
A source told the tabloid that Prince Harry and Markle’s second wedding plans are being frowned upon by some members of the royal family. However, the couple thinks that renewing their vows is necessary.
Prince Harry and Markle allegedly believe that the ceremony will symbolize a new start for their relationship both practically and spiritually. Prince Harry also wants to push through with the gathering to show his love and commitment to his wife.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for Prince Harry and Markle to be renewing their vows anytime soon. After all, the royal couple is quarantining in Los Angeles.
After the coronavirus pandemic is over, Prince Harry and Markle will most likely keep themselves occupied with their new jobs. They are also gearing up for the launch of “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family” in August.
Royal commentator Omid Scobie recently opened up about the book that he co-wrote with Carolyn Durand. While speaking with Daily Mail, Scobie gushed over Prince Harry and Markle.
He said that he has witnessed how Prince Harry and Markle remained faithful in their own beliefs. And how they continued to stay strong amid adversities. Scobie said that “Finding Freedom” will tell the definitive version of the royal couple’s lives together.
The royal commentator also said that “Finding Freedom” will shed light on who Prince Harry and Markle really are. And it will also debunk some of the claims made against them by the press.
Prince Harry and Markle decided to quit the royal family following a slew of criticisms from the press. Shortly after Megxit, they moved to Canada with their 1-year-old son, Archie. At present, the Sussexes are in Los Angeles.
